Dear friends and clients:
SE Farm wishes everyone a fantastic 2012. We are excited to start out the new year. 2011 has brought us alot of success with various young horses owned and bred by SE Farm. We currently have 9 partnerships with SE Farm owned and bred youngsters. Pending are 3 new partnerships with partners in Florida and Colorado. We are looking forward for the show season to begin so we can watch our youngsters compete both in show jumping and eventing all over the country.
Our flagship stallion, Claire de LuneSE,8, has relocated from Southern California to Wellington, Florida with our new partner, Marilyn Little-Meredith, of Raylyn Farms. Marilyn is a talented international show jumper who has proven in the last year she can also excell in eventing. In an interview with the Chronicle of the Horse she states about Clair de LuneSE: "The horse is incredible-truly a competitor with an enormous future in either discipline," said Little-Meredith. "What an asset to U.S. breeders to have a stallion such as this both standing on U.S. soil and also competing here, so they have the opportunity to both watch him develop and also call him truly 'made in America'-bred, born and developed. Rose and I are both really excited for the new partnership, and have incredibly high hopes for this stallion. He's an eventing athlete, a show jumping rising star and a stallion with the quality of bloodlines to rival that of any future producers." LEONADO SE
Our 7 year old approved BWP stallion, LeonadoSE, who is a product of embryo transfer out of our premium Pikadero mare, Piktorial, finished off 2011 with a bang!! He won the blue ribbon in his very first Open Preliminary division at the Galway Downs International and 3 day HT. He won on his dressage score of 27, in a very large and competitive class. We are excited for Alexis Helffrich, our partner with Leo, as all the hard work he has put into training the stallion is paying off.  Leonado and Alexis Helffrich
ULTIMATE II SE
LeonadoSE's full sibling, a 7 year old approved AHHA/BWP mare, Ultimate II SE, also finished off the year with a clean round in stadium, and cross country in her first Open Preliminary event as well. She finished 2nd at the Las Cruces HT in New Mexico with our partner Frederic Bouland. "Kiley" also finished top ten in the USEA training horse division for 2011. ULTIMATE I SE
A third Piktorial offspring, also a product of embryo transfer and a full sibling to LeonadoSE and Ultimate II SE, is AHHA/BWP approved mare Ultimate I SE. "Starry" spent her first couple years at Amy Tryon's barn in Duval, Washington learning how to event with Amy's assistant Lauren Fergusen. Lauren did a great job training her and gave her the foundation she needed to become a successful hunter. SE Farm has entered into a partnership with Amy Garcia, who trains with Erin Sinclair Moa. She has done a phenomenal job with the mare in the medal, equitation and hunter classes. " Starry" has won many of her hunter, equitation and medal classes. We are hoping for some hunter derby wins this year, as she is very brave, has lots of scope and has beautiful jumping technique. "Starry" is available for custom breeding. COR DE AMORE SE
A fourth Piktorial youngster, the young stallion Cor de Amore SE, 3, sired by our '09 YEH champion, Clair de LuneSE, won the IDHSNA/USEA FEH finals in the colts division for 2011. COR is a Clair de LuneSE "mini me". That is the very same score his sire recieved in '09 when he won the YEH finals!! Cor de AmoreSE had scored a 87.9% with a 9.4 for type, 9 for movement and a 9 for frame. This was the second consecutive win in FEH for him as he won the FINALS in 2010 as well. We are anxiously awaiting for him to compete in 4 yr old YEH and start off his jumping career in eventing. He will be presented for stallion approvals in 2012, and hopefully become Clair de LuneSE's first approved son. He will be available for a eventing partnership next year. WATERFORD CRYSTAL SE
A fifth Piktorial offspring, Waterford Crystal SE, 5, won her very first Open Novice event at Woodside last summer. We have partnered with Alexis Helffrich's assistant, Lisa Rivas who is bringing up the young mare through the eventing ranks. Piktorial (Pikadero x The SequelXX) is 11 years old and is pregnant with her 8th foal. Because of the embryo transfer process, we have been able to breed her successsfully with 2 foals a year. She often double ovulates, thus is a ET breeders dream! Piktorials has 5 offspring competing and winning in sport. She is in foal to Clair de LuneSE and will be available for custom breeding in 2013. She is dually approved by BWP and AHHA. In addition to having 2 approved sons, LeoneSE and LeonadoSE, she has a son by Corrado I (Corazon de CorradoSE), 5, that will be presented for stallion approvals this year. Last spring, SE Farm partnered with Michael Larsen of Buffalo, Montana. Michael has extensive experience training stallions and young horses as he rode in Europe many years riding stallions and handling them for breeding. He then rode for Olympic bronze medalist Darren Chiacchia and the Holecamps, who are the owners of Windfall. Michael is training our approved stallion, Darco's LegacySE, out of our "elite" Darco mare, Mistery. A product of oocyte transfer, he is the brother to our flagship stallion, Clair de LuneSE. We have high hopes that Darco's LegacySE will become Michael's next international horse. He is not only a spitting image of his famous grandfather, the legendary Darco, but a very careful, scopey jumper. He has some show champion credits in 2011, and many times was the only horse to have clean rounds in all his young jumper classes.

USA SE
Our last entry is USA SE,7, sister to Clair de LuneSE. She is also a product of embryo transfer and is competing with Teghan Guthrie, of Malibu Ca, under the watchful eye of trainer Beth Cadwalder. Teghan and USA SE have been very competitive in hunters, equitation, jumpers and winning top ribbons in all classes. USA SE is available for custom breeding. Darco's LegacySE (Contendor/Darco)
Darco's LegacySE is a 7 year old stallion, approved BWP, and a product of oocyte transfer.
He is the first approved son of our "elite" BWP Darco daughter, Mistery. Mistery is the sister to McClain Ward's international superstar and Olympic gold medal winning mare, Sapphire. Mistery was herself an international grandprix showjumper, with many international wins from Chile to Spruce Meadows. On the sire side, Darco's LegacySE is the brother to '09 YEH finals national champion and eventing superstar, Clair de LuneSE.

Leonado SE 
LeonadoSE is an exceptional young stallion. A modern, leggy type with outstanding jumping ability and incredible movement. LeonadoSE scored 18's for his gaits last year at stallion approvals. The BWP judges were awestruck by his beautiful, elastic movement.
His pedigree offers breeders a well rounded backround of dressage (Pikadero), and showjumping (Liostro and Pikadero). LeonadoSE is out of the premium mare, Piktorial, a retired jumper sportsmare, who has 5 young offspring currently competing and winning in sport. LeonadoSE is the brother to Sapphire, Mark Watrings international superstar who was recently cloned. He is also the brother to Mandy Porter's Lio Calyon.
LeonadoSE has had a stellar year with Alexis Helffrich . He finished off the 2011 year with a spectacular first place win in the Open Preliminary division. He ribboned top 3 in most 2011 horse trials and with excellent dressage scores in the low 20's. We are excited for 2012 to watch the duo compete . Leone SE
LeoneSE (Liostro (E) x Piktorial (Pikadero) ) is a 7 year old approved stallion, a full brother to LeonadoSE. Genetically he has the same pedigree but both stallions were born to two different mares via the embryo transfer process. Both stallions were approved in 2010.
LeoneSE is very short backed, compact stallion with an incredible chest and neck set. He is a powerful jumper with beautiful, consistant technique. He jumps with the scope of a jumper and the technique of a hunter. Coupled with incredible beauty, conformation, and movement, he possess the complete package for breeding.
LeoneSE, along with his brother LeonadoSE are the last 2 approved sons of the legendary elite Holsteiner stallion, Liostro. Their most famous sibling is Mark Watrings international superstar, Sapphire. Sapphire, a gelding, was recently successfully cloned.
At stallion approvals, LeoneSE performance in the jump chute was stellar. He cleared 4 ft oxers by 2 feet with ease.

Situated on approximately 8 rolling acres in sunny southern California, SE Farm has been breeding world class equine athletes for 9 years.We have imported the best European jumping bloodlines from stallions such as Darco, For Pleasure, Corrado I, Contender, Liostro, Cathalido, and many more, incorporating them into our breeding program for top event/Grand Prix Jumpers. At SE Farm we specialize, with the help of IN Foal INC, in advanced equine reproduction such as embryo transfer, oocyte transfer and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection). Most of our young stock are products of these transfers, as most of our mares were high end performance mares.
In addition to selling to selling semen from our approved BWP stallions, we offer custom breeding via the advanced equine reproductive services of embryo transfer, oocyte transfer, and sperm injection. (ICSI). We also offer our clients the oocytes (eggs) from our proven performance mares for use in producing a foal.
