Dear friends,
Summer is in the air, show
season is well under way, and the last Claire de LuneSE filly arrived
last week! We want to thank our many clients, sponsors and
supporters of Claire de LuneSE and congratulate those of you with foals
on the ground. Claire de LuneSE seems to throw gorgeous, very
leggy, short backed foals with superb movement. Next year we are
anticipating some very nice foals out of some very special mares.
Claire is not only making his mark in the event world, but
in the hunter/jumper world as well.
We are in the process of
breaking 8 youngsters, all very well bred, with some of the best
European jumper bloodlines in the world, including Corrado I,
Darco, For Pleasure, Cathalido, Calido I, Liostro, South Pacific,
Sabutage, Pikadero, Acord II, Alme!! Next year will be a very
exciting one for SE Farm. Stay tuned.
Sincerely yours,
Rose Sullivan

Claire De Lune SE
Show season has been progressing
with a bang with SE Farm young horses. Robyn Fisher who sponsors
and trains Claire de LuneSE for us, bested more than 30 rider/horse
combos at 3 different Open Preliminary Events where they were division
Champions twice at Galway International, and once at Twin Rivers Horse
Trials.
Galway International was a very difficult Open Prelim Division,
as it was an Ian Stark cross country course and Claire de
LuneSE had just moved up into that division, but he jumped phenomenally.
Claire de LuneSE is now qualified for his first FEI one *, at Rebecca Farm, in Kalispell, Montana the week of July 21st.
We are very proud of Robyn and the amazing job she has been doing with our stallion.
Claire de LuneSE's show and breeding career can now be followed on Facebook.

Congratulations
Claire De LuneSE's son has big future ahead!
For the FEH, (young horse breeding futurity), A Claire de LuneSE

Alamos, Ca. He scored a whopping 89.3% and outscored his sire and
winner of the 5 yr old West Coast YEH finals for 2009, Claire de LuneSE.
LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON.
We have an in-utero foal for sale, same combo for $15,000.
Please scroll down for details.

2010 Foals by Claire De Lune SE
Here are some of our own and some clients 2010 Claire De Lune SE foals!
|
|
USA SE
USA
SE, a sister to Claire de LuneSE, was ridden in the YEH Championship at
Twin Rivers Horse Trials where she was stellar, and qualified with a
76% score to make it to the YEH Championship Finals.
USA
SE was Champion at the Open Novice Division, at the Flintridge Horse
Trials, held in March 2010. She was trained and ridden by Cara
Julian, assistant to Robyn Fisher.
This horse is available for partnership lease to intermediate/advanced rider. Please scroll down for more information.

In Pleasanton, California, Alexis
Helffrich, who is originally from France but now owns and operates
AH Eventing, has been doing a fantastic job schooling and training
our 5 year old Liostro stallion, LeonadoSE. Leonado is the
brother to Mark Watring's international superstar gelding "Sapphire", a
gold medal winner at the Pan-American Games and multiple
grand prix champion.
Sapphire has recently been cloned
successfully. The foal is just a few months old and Mark plans to
keep him a stallion. On the dam side, Leonado SE has fabulous
Hanovarian dressage and GP jumping lines, as he is out of Piktorial, our
premium Pikadero daughter. Pikadero was owned by Mary Shirley and
is now deceased. His line throws gorgeous movement for
dressage.
LeonadoSE will be presented for
stallion approvals to the BWP in September and hopefully receive his
breeding license at that time.
 At
the Inavale Horse trials, Leonado placed 2nd in a very large and
competitive class in the Open Novice Division, with a 23 dressage score!
It was his second horse trials and we are very pleased with
Alexis and his team with the progress they have made in the last few
months with him. He is being managed very well, as seen by his
good behavior at horse shows. At SE Farms, we pride ourselves in
having stallions that are easy to manage in a show environment.
YEH is coming up shortly for our stallion and we hope he will become qualified to compete in the finals in October.

Ultimate I SE
Ultimate I SE trained by Olympian Amy Tryon's assistant Lauren
Fergusen, who operate Mapleleaf Eventing in Duval, Washington, also
competed at the Inavale Horse Trials.
She recieved an excellent score in dressage, unfortunetly lost
her shoe in cross country, and was double clean in stadium.
 Ultimate
I is the sister to Leonado SE and the embryo twin to Ultimate II SE
(Frederic Bouland). Our plans for her are to qualify her for
YEH at Rebecca Farm, in Kalispell, Montana, and hopefully become
qualified for the YEH Year end finals.
This horse will be available for lease Aug 1st (see details below)

Ultimate II SE
In Phoenix, Arizona, Frederic Bouland, also originally from France,
has entered into a partnership with our Liostro/Pikadero premium mare,
Ultimate II SE.
Frederic has been doing lots of dressage work to prepare her
for her horse trial debut sometime in July, and for the YEH
championships we hope to get her qualified for. Here is a picture
of "Kiley" free jumping. "She doesn't want to touch anything
or even come close," Frederic says.
Kiley is a product of embryo transfer, one of 8 ET's SE Farm has
produced in the last 5 years, and also a sibling to Sapphire. She
has incredible scope and movement, and we are very excited about our
partnership with Frederic and their future together in the
eventing world.

About Us
Situated on approximately
8 rolling acres in sunny southern California, SE Farm has been breeding
world class equine athletes for 8 years. We
have imported the best European jumping bloodlines from stallions such
as Darco, For Pleasure, Corrado I, Contendor, Liostro, Cathalido, and
many more, incorporating them into our breeding program for top
event/Grand Prix Jumpers. At SE Farm we specialize, with the help of IN Foal INC,
in advanced equine reproduction such as Embryo transfer, Oocyte
transfer and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection). Most of our
young stock are products of these transfers, as most of our mares were
high end sport mares. Find out more about SE Farm in the News section at sefarm.com, in addition to the recent article about SE Farm and owner, Rose Sullivan in the February 2010 edition of Continental Studbook (jump to PAGE 14)
