"Maple" is a 17.1 hand Chestnut Hanoverian gelding. He was imported from Europe to Calgary, Alberta Canada where he competed in the open jumpers until we bought him in 2000. He was brought to California and competed on the "A" circuit in equitation and jumpers. He has been shown successfully on the equitation circuit, having placed and competed in almost all the major west coast medal finals as well as the Maclay finals in NYC. Due to his past career as a jumper, he is brave and scopey, making him an ideal candidate for medals like the USET. He is a brilliant mover, and has also excelled in hunter classes. Maple has done it all and is the perfect horse for a junior rider looking to move up to 3'6" medals as well as one that is ready to take a trip indoors.
